Results out on wed!!! At first i cant wait for results to be out, but now im dreading it. what if history repeats itself? i don't want to be disappointed again like 2 years ago and start crying in front of everyone else. The stakes are too high this time, i cant afford to screw up. I am 101% confident that i can get admitted into NUS comfortably, but i want the NUS or OCBC scholarship. It's not easy, considering that in rjc alone, half the cohort get 4A's. I really hope i'd meet my expectations, i worked hard for it and i know i deserve it.

Met mad and pj for dinner at al dente where mad is working at. The food is quite good and the ambience is great. her nice manager actually gave us a 15% discount! it was rather unexpected and we really appreciated it.

i suddenly realized what a glutton i am. Mad and peijun were too full to finish their pasta, but i totally cleared my lasagna and nearly forgot to save some for peijun except for a small bite. Now i know why pj is so skinny while im so fat. she only ate half of her pasta!

it was really a great night out with friends that i've known for almost 10 years. I was very surprised that mad is considering psychology and economics for uni, which is totally the same as me! Looks like we may have a chance to be classmates again :D We were talking on the train and saying how hard it is for us to meet up nowadays coz everyone is working and it's tough to find a time that everyone can make it. Cant imagine what will happen after we graduate and start holding permanent jobs, we'd probably have not much time to gather and chat anymore :( so i really treasure times that we hang out together now.

i finally got my first pay, but it's like only 500 plus coz i only get the pay for the first 8 days. I would have gotten less, but lucky for me, i earned less than 750 for Jan so i only need to pay 6% cpf.
therefore, i decided to pamper myself for working hard for the past one month. so i bought a very off-budget T-shirt from Armani Exchange and an old album by ciara. I gave my parents 50 each and also a fair amount to my grandparents. Im going to treat my siblings to pizza and repay the remaning debt to jianglei and also treat him to something nice this weekend. so there goes my first pay.
Poor jianglei was so deprived of good food in army, and i had been denying good food during the weekdays, so we decided to eat yummy food today. in order not to get fat, i went running and pilates to boost my metabolism just before meeting him :D

went my grandma house for dinner before my aunt goes back to china for her chinese medicine course.
hainanese chicken rice!!! 
i swear my grandma's chicken rice is the best in Singapore, and it's 100% authentic hainanese chicken rice since my grandparents came from hainan island, china. it's really damn damn good! i bet people will queue for hours just for her chicken rice if she ever opens a stall.
omg, look at my huge appetite. the whole plate was so full of food and i ate like muffins, carls jr and subway in the noon.
damn, im really getting fat. nowadays the work load is quite little so i ended up eating and waiting for time to pass. and there are suddenly so many chocolates seducing me these days and i just couldnt master the power to say no. pimples are already popping out on my forehead. i can pinch another inch of fats off my tummy and arm. how?!?!?!? jianglei lost quite a fair bit of weight in army, so me and weizhen were saying if only we can be part time NS girls or something, our figure will be damn good!
i never thought a temp staff would ever feel this way...but im stressed at work! normally temp staff would be given unimportant staff such as data entry and photocopy - in another words, office girl. however, they decided to reshuffle the tasks assigned to me and jana today. From this noon onwards, i would be doing processing and casting. im such a careless person, i was so stressed that i have to be super duper careful when doing casting as they would check and come after me if anything is wrong. they actually record down the no. of errors each person make each day. my first try was horrendous! people usually make like 1 mistake, at most, for the whole day whereas i must have made a dozen errors in just one batch!i was so stressed that my officer could tell from my stiff hands and had to tell me to relax. oh no,now i'm actually handling money matters. hope i wont screw up.
heard from py that jianglei would be out this fri. cant wait. i miss those 2 days that he came to have lunch with me during my lunchtime.
i thought my vday for this year will be lonely and boring since i'd be working in the office and doing overtime.however, something exciting happened during the evening. someone called me and asked if im working for UOB card centre. she asked me which storey i worked in and told me to wait outside for a delivery man. and so i waited for my big surprise...
jianglei actually ordered a bouquet of flowers and had them delivered to my office! and i thought i wouldn't have any flowers this year since he had already spent so much on our celebration. so despite having no date today, this valentines isnt so bad afterall :D

I never put on perfume coz i cant stand the strong smells. therefore, i seldom buy perfumes coz there are only a pathetic few that attract me, despite the nice bottles and all that make it so tempting. Nevertheless, cheapo me went to redeem a complimentary sample today(well it's free anyway and who knows? i may like it)

Before that, i went to gym and pilates at amore. and i encountered a horrific sight. one of the auntie there didnt shave!!! at first i still thought her figure is quite hot for an auntie, but when she raised up her arms for one of the exercises, i was totally turned off and disgusted. yuck yuck yuck. please, cant they just shave or not wear sleeveless if they have a forest for an armpit? it's such an eyesore for poor innocent eyes like mine. worse still, sometimes i see young woman in their 20's wearing a spag top and didnt shave. don't they feel embarrassed at all?
i don't know what's worse. aunties with hot figures who don't shave or those who are flabby but dressed skimpily.
thought yesterday's volume was low enough, but today was the ultimate. even the permanent staff said it have been quite a while since volume was that low. i finished my tasks quite early and it's times like this that i appreciate having high volume of cheques and a heavy workload and also overtime. at least time passes by quickly when you are kept busy. unlike today, i kept on checking my watch and wonder why it moves sooo damn slowly.
I had nothing much to do in the evening and so my officer decided to teach me
processing! Quite cool to learn what the perm staff are doing, at least i feel that ive learnt a new skill in my job. it was pretty easy, but i have to be ultra careful. i've seen the consequences when they made mistakes, not very pretty i must say.
i need to go shopping! im seriously running out of clothes to wear!!!
today's volume was exceptionally low, thankfully. i managed to get my brows done before i met shuk in for dinner . sheila, the indian lady who did my brows for me, asked if she could give me a little arc coz my brows have this natural shape. she said a lot of people asked her for an arc but it was hard for her coz they just dont have the shape. so i guess im quite blessed even though my eyebrows can be quite messy if i don't trim it. She was really nice and kept on talking to me. i told her i wanted to do my brows before chinese new year and she was like " don't remind me of chinese new year". the place was fully booked that day and she said she was damn exhausted and her fingers were cut by the thread. oh ya, she said my Guess bracelet was very pretty too!

but my complexion sucks. it's all because of chinese new year and the cookies and love letters that come with it that makes me fat and my skin bad . the pimples just wouldnt go away. i used to have rather flawless complexion, but it's getting worse now. the worst thing is, im unable to control my diet nowadays. i still couldnt shed those stubborn kilos off coz i always couldnt resist food. damn, people who are on diet lead miserable lives.
The Cliff gave me this cookie and wished me happy valentines. they asked jianglei what was the occasion when he made his reservation, and he told them we were celebrating v-day in advance. how thoughtful of them. Im saving it for valentines, coz im so so so fat now. I gained like 1.5kg over the new year and it's really hard to lose it. went running and pilates this morning, but i ruined my 2 hour effort by succumbing to the temptation of Hawaiian Host macadamia nut chocolates which contain like 80 cal per piece :( where's my self-control???
