Decided to do some Springcleaning today. The ants on my table are driving me crazy, so I followed their trail and this lead me to the flowers that jianglei gave me. i kept all the dried roses and bouquets that he gave and they never give me any problems until now. I was left with no choice but to throw away the stalks and 2 bouquets :( they were so pretty and meant so much to me, i really hate to throw them away. now im only left with 1 bouquet, the first bouquet he gave me. hopefully it wouldnt attract ants again. anyone who have any tips on preserving the roses please tell me!

i tidied up my cds and realised i do have a huge collection of cds!my cd collection has quite a variety of music,i could probably open a cd shop now :) guess how many there are in my collection?
just got back from chalet. the turnout was unexpectedly good, and i guess most people had fun. it was pot luck so there was lots of food, and i ate and ate and ate non-stop. Im really getting fat now :( played stupid games like slap jack, silent heart-attack, card games like bridge and poker. Stupid soo tet kept on saying stuff to confuse me, and totally misleaded me into thinking that he was my partner in bridge. fortunately, i still managed to win since i was on a winning streak that night :) hong yi taught us how to play poker and got us so addicted that kai ping and soo tet didnt want to leave. I lost like 4bucks to jianglei, who was the big winner who managed to win almost 10bucks. >_<

The peach vodka that yuan shao brought was damn nice! i always disliked the taste of vodka, but i couldnt resist this. Think me and cindy drank the most, the guys all drank one cup and thought that it was too strong(it was 40% vodka btw) and so didnt drink anymore. how wasteful.
We had breakfast at the food court and i simply couldnt fight the temptation of waffle ice-cream! i duno when my fixation for waffle started, but i feel like eating it whenever i see it. Hong yi saw us buy it and thought that it looked too attractive to ignore, and so he had his third serving of breakfast. he can really eat a lot.

was supposed to go for work today, until weizhen called me juz when i was about to leave home to inform me that they didn't want students :((( to think that i was dreaming of my first pay*sighz*
So i was so bored at home after the change of plan i decided to ask my cousin out for shopping.In the end,even though i was the one who suggested the activity, i didn't buy anything and she spent almost 50 bucks on accessories and stuff.
I didnt want to get anything for my sis bdae at first because i know that she wouldn't appreciate it anyway. Afterall, she returned me the present i gave to her last year. But xinyi thought that it isnt very nice, so i decided to share a box of cookies with her. True enough, my sis wasnt appreciative at all and said we wasted money on the packaging. like WTH! I paid a few more dollars so that we can give her something more presentable, the least she can do is to seem grateful right? Damn irritating, i shouldn't even bother wasting money on her when im pretty broke myself. i still have a $300 debt to settle.

Went to watch Narnia with weizhen yesterday, followed by shopping! I realised time passes by really fast when you shop. didnt see anything i fancy except for a Guess wallet which i thought i wouldn't buy first until jianglei sees it. When i returned today, it was gone! How disappointing, hopefully they will restock. It's so nice and cheap, only 40bucks! Saw other guess stuff that are going for low prices, like a nice little denim bag which both of us agree is very pretty. too bad i just got a new Guess bag, otherwise i would have bought it.
After shopping, i went for my relative's wedding dinner at Suntec. I don't even know the bride and groom, yet i felt so touched for them i nearly cried.Reminded me of the chnl 8 9 pm show and how i thought it is ridiculous for one of the bride to want a perfect wedding with fireworks and real butterflies flying around. But now, i think that a perfect wedding is important to every girl. Afterall, it will be the prettiest and happiest moment of your life. I dream of wearing a beautiful and elegant tailor-made gown on that day, and having my wedding dinner in a grand hotel like fullerton. I will have all my relatives and friends there to celebrate me finding the man of my dreams. It will be a grand affair as i know i would deserve it. My fantasy doesn't stop here, but i think i wouldn't elaborate further or it wouldn't come true :)
Today is pig-out day. met jianglei to watch Wallace & Gromit and we had gelare before that. He insisted on buying me more food, so i had a second serving of ice-cream from ben and jerry's and cheesy hotdog. I felt so bloated after that. Think im getting fat, but everyone tells me to eat more coz i look quite skinny. I admit that my appearance looks perfectly fine, and that's only because all my fats go into my tummy which is safely hidden by the t-shirts i wear so no one could tell that i do have a rather thick waist :(
Okay, enough of senseless rantings.
Its finally xmas! my fav occasion of the year!!! Went to my grandma house in the morning for turkey!! They bought it from cold storage, not bad. However, i still love the turkey that my grandma prepares the most. too bad she's too sick to prepare any turkey for us now, so we have to make do with this. Nonetheless, we still have her delicious potato salad!

i stayed over at my grandma's place coz my parents are both in China. Despite being bored there(think of no computer, no cd player and only a dvd player), i still enjoyed the stay. it brought back a lot of childhood memories. I used to stay with them until i was P6, so i am very close to them and i value their prescence a lot.
I remember sleeping on the comfortable mattresses in the living room at night, and my grandma used to tell me stories until i fell asleep. I remember throwing tantrums at my grandma and we sometimes got so furious with one another. I remember how she used to drive me to school in the morning(hello, like which grandma in her 60's still drive anyway?!?!?). Unfortunately she cant drive now coz of her heart problem. I remember how she used to bring me to the wet market and i love the food there. I remember that she brought me to her friends house whenre they played mahjong and also to her club where she learnt singing. I even remember that i sang "wang qing shui" on the same stage as her when i was very young...
I remember sitting on a chair in the balcony when i was young, watching the birds. I remember how my grandpa used to bring me around and the first time i tasted beer was when i was out with him. I was so young then, and i hated the taste of beer. I remember how he would find and break the canes that my mum had hiden so that i would not be beaten. I also remember how he secretly asked me to follow him to the storeroom and would give me $2 out of his pathetic pay every week(he used to work at the shipyard when he was 60 plus to 70). i remember how i used to speak to him with the little Japanese i know coz he used to work for the japs and know japanese better than i do...
I remember how my primary school friends used to come over to my grandparents house often. We practised our dance there, we disturbed my little cousin, and they used to hide my little soft toy rabbit which is now as old as me. I remember how cindy used to come over the most frequently, and we played badminton and ate at my house. I remember going across the little park to her house and spent hours there dunno doing what. I remember us goin to the big bookshop for hours after school searching for coloured pens...
I have so many memories over there. sometimes i wish time can go back and im always still a child. Now im 18, how time flies. I have more problems now, like looking for a job, thinking about my future. Im no longer the young and innocent child back then. how i wish i still am.
Finally went shopping on wed after so long. There were sales everywhere, but i couldn't find anything i like.
Noticed something interesting. remember the guess bag that jianglei bought for me earlier on? well, the price of it sort of doubled. Despite reducing the price coz its on sales now, it is still more ex than the amount he paid for . So sales arent really sales after all. they marked up the prices and pretended to give you like 50% discount, when in fact, the original price was just as much.
AlX tanktop or tshirt? the prices are about the same. I like the black top but jiangei prefers the white tshirt. but i have too many t shirts already! HOW?
went for faction outing today. We had steamboat BBQ at marina south. I wished i had eaten more, but somehow, my appetite had shrunk since i got sick. those who know me well should know that im a greedy pig with an appetite that doesnt quite look my size. But these few days, i got hungry easily and yet, i feel bloated easily too. Wonder if its a good or bad thing.

went to watch kingkong with weihan, kaiping and cindy. we were supposed to watch at gv so that i could use my pair of free ticket passes. too bad the show was too popular and there werent any good seats left. In the end, we watched at lido and i had to pay. damn, im running on negative sums. Anyway, i was sad that king kong died in the end even though the plot was quite stupid. it vaguely resembles the modern version of beauty and the beast. the publicity it is receiving is overblown. When i got home, i fell sick again.
apparently my shopping spree didnt end in hong kong. I spent like 150bucks today on a pair of nike pants and a top from amore, and eminem's curtain call and shakira's oral fixation vol.2. crazy right? but im happy. I was pleasantly surprised when i found out that the cds actually came with a limited ed. giant eminem poster and shakira's calender poster. Now i better look for a job to start financing my never-ending expenditure.
It sucks to fall sick after a holiday. I have been feeling uncomfortable all over and have no appetite for anything. I only ate an apple in the day and soup for dinner, after which i threw up everything. To see this in a positive light, at this rate im going, im goin to lose all the pounds that i had gained in hong kong in no time.But this is quite unhealthy and i would much rather lose the excess weight throught exercising. Speaking of which, i miss running. Thought i could run today, but im too sick to walk, let alone run. This seriously sucks.
