my mom brought back a box of pretty chocolates for me!

I think im addicted to chocs, i eat them almost everyday.Moreover, my officer treated us to pizza, drumlets, tortilla chips etc from pizza hut for lunch. Im so getting fat :(

Azabu Sabo

Met jianglei for lunch today at Azabu Sabo!

the food looks great!

shabu-shabu beef with radis and plum flavour rice.The rice is very popular in Japan and very appetising. And i love the radish!

udon noodle with crab omelette. The udon was quite chewy and the serving was so huge i couldnt finish it. I think my appetite has shrunk since i embark on my diet plan :(

this is so cute. i love the spice powder.

soft ice-cream with sweet potato and red bean paste. It was very nice! When you eat the ice cream and sweet potato together, you get the hot and cold taste at the same time, very special. Really really yummy.

It's a nice place to dine at as the food is healthy and you get huge portions at reasonable prices. everyone should go try it!

After lunch, we found out that there was going to be a fashion show at 3 and so we stayed around for it. Jianglei wasnt interested in it at all and asked if im lesbian cos i seemed more excited about looking at hot babes than him!

They are all so skinny, im so envious! Too bad that i cant give up on food...

Models always appear to be super-beings to me as they are so slim and tall and pretty whereas im the exact opposite. I really admire their determination to stay away from food, yet i feel sorry for them as life must be so miserable without nice food.

On our way to Suntec, we saw this shop that sells nice cakes. hmm..i had a hard time deciding which one to eat.

we settled on the cheesecake in the end.

it didnt taste as fantastic as it looked :(
Maybe my expectation of cheesecake became higher ever since i ate the nice cheesecakes from The cheesecake cafe. No other cheesecakes seems to be able to match up to its standards.

I get to eat my favourite snacks too!

Today was a screwed up day. Jianglei's company was supposed to book out at 630 and so me and puayyong waited at jurong point since 530. And guess what, it's 730 and they still havent called up yet. We were so bored as jurong point is a damn lousy place to shop at and our legs were tired and we were hungry. So, we decided to eat at delifrance. It was super ultra inefficient! She waited like 15mins for her sandwiche and i was so irritated(that's what happens when im hungry) after waiting for 20 mins that i went in to cancel my order. It wasnt too troublesome for them and i need not feel guilty as they HAVENT EVEN PREPARED IT YET. I don't see why they need 20mins to prepare a sandwich when all u need to do is cut the bread and put the fillings inside. It usually takes less than a minute and not like it was very crowded at that time.

I was craving for some sandwich so we ended up in coffee bean. However, think jianglei misunderstood me or something, i got this instead.

And i waited damn long for it. AGAIN! Jianglei's cheesecake took ultra long to be served too, which i dont understand why either, as the cheesecakes were already cut in the display window.

Moreover, it sucks. I took one bite and refused to touch it anymore. It was so creamy and yucky, i cant even taste the cheese.argh. DONT EVER EAT IT!irritated me looking fat and ugly. Now i know why girls must smile more, cos they seriously look horrible if they are grumpy.the only thing that manages to make me feel better.I concluded that the restaurants in jurong point are damn inefficient and i was telling jianglei that i don't want to meet him in jurong point again. This place seriously gets on my nerve, to think that i was in a very good mood in the noon after my run and hip hop class, it really spoils my good day.

5 officers from UOB CCOC got promoted and invited the whole department for a tea session. Even temp staff like me were included in the treat as well, and i don't even know who are they, lol. Nonetheless, i helped myself to the nice tarts and cakes, hoping that they promote people more often so that i will have more nice food to eat. My officer got promoted too, and she promised to treat us to pizza next week, yipee!Few days ago, we were told to wear red or blue(the UOB logo colour) for work today. Only the cardholder payment faithfully wore these two colours, while the rest of the people outside didnt really bother. We all felt stupid, haha. In the noon, some people whom i've never seen before( i only get to know the few people in cardholder payment) came in and asked to take a group photo of us(since we are the only people in CCOC who were so loyal). I wonder what is it for. Cant believe i've already worked in CCOC for two months. I quite like working there, the people are nice and time passes by fast when you are kept occupied all the time. Actually, i rather enjoy my life now. More money, not much worries,lots of time for myself to do things that i enjoy. But this is going to end in a few months time...

I sort of regretted applying for FASS. I just realized that i have to do asian studies and humanities which i hate to the core.It doesnt help that those subjects that im interested in - psychology, economics, politcal science, all falls under the same division and i couldnt take them all. That means i have to take things like history or lit, japanese studies etc. This sucks. I thought i will never do humanities again after O levels, im never a arts student. Why must they combine arts and social sciences under the same faculty? The good, or maybe bad, news is that this will only last for a semester. Hopefully, it wouldnt screw up my cap too much and affect my chances of applying for a double major. Im already starting to dread entering uni, the first semester already appears to be torture.

It is really up to my expectation and very cheap too! It is crispy on the outside and the fish is very soft, and the chilli sauce is nice as well( any food with lousy chilli is a fail for me since i simply adores chilli, the spicier the better!). They sell other food too, the chicken that minxuan bought was very delicious as well. Everyone should go try it!

God, it's really the best cheesecake i've ever eaten!It's a little light like japanese cheesecake, yet dense enough and wouldn't make you sick after a few bites. It simply melts in your mouth.It is perfect. Now, i dont feel like eating any other cheesecake anymore. Not NYDC, not even my favorite new york cheesecake from startbucks.Yes, it's that good.

I told jianglei that i would come here for tea everyday when im rich. I feel like a tai-tai already, sipping on the milk, eating delicious cheesecake and reading magazines. How more relaxing can life be!

the original plan was to share a cheesecake. But i couldn't get enough of it and finally succumbed to another one - walnut cheesecake. I wanted to order their speciality peach jelly cheesecake at first, but it was sold out :(

Class dinner at soo tet's uncle's restaurant, Changing Appetite, yesterday. It was very generous of his uncle to give us a 20% discount and i like the curry rice quite a lot. Dinner was rather enjoyable, talking to the guys whom i havent seen in quite a while.It was interesting to hear about their plans for future studies and also their time in BMT.I wonder when we would have the chance to gather again...

Met jianglei again today at parkway and we saw this pretty pair of earrings. I liked it quite a lot but was too stingy to buy it coz i realised i had spent almost all of my past few pays.But jianglei was so sweet, he bought it for me!

We walked past venezia and i saw this cute ice cream that i simply had to try.

and we had apple strudel too! It has been so long since i last ate it and so he bought a super big one!

I realised i had been eating a lot for the past few days since jianglei completed his BMT. His appetite had grown so huge and influenced me into eating more too. Nevermind, i can start dieting next week when he goes for camp again.

after watching V for Vendetta. It was a very good movie that draws parallel to the present world. Makes you think think about the Bush administration, their war on terror and their scandals at Guantanamo bay. Now, who are we to judge who is right and who is wrong?

i havent had a chance to treat jianglei to a nice dinner since i got my first pay. So, i decided to bring him to The Elizabeth Hotel for modesto's today!

i bought myself a beret today too! the lady at Adorn was so kind to help me punch more holes on the belt that i bought from forever 21 which doesnt offer such service. I was greeted by so many black-faced salesgirl today that i was so pleased with her good service. I wanted to give her a GEMS card but unfortunately, there wasnt any at the counter.
