How would you rate the attractiveness of this person?
what about now?

This concerns the way our visual system work. cool har?

Impresario is finally over! For our group at least, cos we didnt make it into the finals. But well, i was disappointed but not too disheartened. Competition was tough and the seniors are definitely way better than us.Not to forget the fact that we changed more than half of our choreography and only had around a week to learn it.We had tried our best and it was a good experience :) However, felt as if i had let down my choreographers. They spent so much time and effort on us, i felt bad that i didnt match up to their expectations. Well, i would work hard though. For the first time, we actually had visible make up!

And i was so happy that jiang came down just in time for my item :) Thanks for everyone's concern, we are fine now. We still love each other very much and very happy together.

The Fray ~ How to save a life

Step one, you say we need to talk.
He walks, you say sit down it's just a talk.
He smiles politely back at you,
You stare politely right on through.
Some sort of window to your right.
As he goes left and you stay right.
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came.

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend somewhere along in the bitterness.
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I know how to save a life.

Let him know that you know best
Cuz after all, you do know best.
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along.
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend somewhere along in the bitterness.
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I know how to save a life.

As he begins to raise his voice,
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed.
He will do one of two things.
He will admit to everything,
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend somewhere along in the bitterness.
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I know how to save a life.

Went Black Angus again with family. It was like my third time there and really, im getting very sick of it. It's pretty obvious from the lack of photos and captions. Usually food tastes the best at first bite, the second time still pretty good, but the third time...urgh. But well, dad loves the stew here, so what can i say?

Splash - cranberry juice with lemonade
ok i must admit the tenderloin was really good
and some other food i was too lazy to take photos of...

Sushi Tei

Happy 32th month! (Gosh that's fast)
So we watched one last dance. Jiang thought it was a pretty terrible movie whereas i didnt think it was that bad. More interesting than curse of the golden flower in my opinion. That aside, i have to agree that it failed to live up to expectations and that the concept wasnt presented very well. There were times when you went " huh, so what's the relevance?" or tried very hard to control your laughter when you saw singaporean actors and their amusing acting (think zhouchongqing). Maybe we should have watched pan labyrinth instead.

After the show i dragged Jiang to sushi tei even though it was still early.
And it was so smart of me cos after our dinner, the queue was like this long. Thank god, i hate waiting especially when im hungry. It makes me super grumpy.
I had my unagi yoridori, jiang ordered curry rice and we had a sukiyaki to share.
It was my first time at sushi tei and the food was pretty good. It's like one of the cheapest and nice place we have been to. Ahh, i love japanese cuisine! I want to go Japan again and again and again!!!
Guess what we had for dessert? Bird nest soup!!!hello fat face

Do you see human lovers or dolphins swimming around? Im pretty sure most of us see the human lovers. How can there be dolphins?

Let me show you
See?

If you show a 2 year old the same picture, she will probaby see dolphins easily instead of human lovers.

That begs the question, why?

It's because our mind is pretty much shaped by our environment and our experiences in life.I cant remember what else the lecturer said.

Ok, i must work very hard this semester and excel in all my modules. There is no reason to perform poorly this time since im doing all the subjects that i love. Macroeconomics, Economics in developing world, Research and Statistics in Psychology, Biological Psychology and Physical Chemistry- all spells INTERESTING and EXCITING(damn i sound like such a geek)!

Alright, maybe physical chemistry isnt exactly fun but at least it's chemistry and i feel that RJ's killer chemistry papers have prepared me for it. Not to mention that there are JC students doing the same module(as H3) so i really cant lose out to them! Most people hate stats and it's said to be one of the harder modules for psychology, but well i think i should have not much problem in a bit of maths. Even if it's difficult i know i will have fun working hard for it(at least i hope so!), and thank god i got some background from JC or i would be so terribly lost! Econs in developing world was quite boring though, fell a bit short of my expectations but it's ok, i have my good old economist to rely on! And macroecons! God, my favorite among the favorites! It's really cool how interest rates, balance of trade, forex, goods markets and labor markets etc are all linked together such that you can never run out of things to talk about in any issue. Don't you agree?=D

Yes, there's simply no excuse for not getting an A for all these. No more history, no more crappy social work, only fun fun econs, psy and chem! The only thing im worried about is not having enough time. Chingay, impresario, hip hop night are all gonna take up lots of my time, so there's really no time to slack. It's only the first week of school and im already starting to mug!

It's only 4 months, ching cheng you can do it!Think about all your passions combine together in just 4 months!
