Celebrated Mad's birthday with her at Astons :) Han and PJ are still away on exchange, so there's only 4 of us left. It's so hard to meet up in full force nowadays cos someone will always be overseas. First, it was me who was away in California. Then now it's pig in china and pj in netherlands. Soon it will be Cindy to Virginia, Weizhen to Australia and Mad to i-forgot-where. I guess the next time all 6 of us can get together again will be in end july?

Btw can someone tell me why is there always a long queue outside Astons at The Cathay when the food wasnt really that good? It used to be better but now it's just bleah...mushroom soup was pretty good
dry and tasteless new york strip
hickory chicken still the best!
salmon steak

Cafe Biz

Another celebration for grandma's 78th, this time with the rest of the extended family at Cafe Biz, trader's hotel. Food wasnt great though, not quite worth the price of 45++ per pax . But who cares about food and money when you have the company of 40 over people who were happy to gather together to catch up and celebrate grandma's birthday :)super fresh and fatty sashimi slices!
lobster bisque
me and jiang's favorite!
more of it!
nice indian food
finally time for desserts!

asia boat show

Jiang has got complimentary tickets to the Asia Boat Show at KeppelBay and so we went to take a look at yachts! Mr Jiang plans to take his day skipper course here after his one month of sailing training in UK in June. Once he gets his license, he would be able to charter a yacht and he promised to sail me around!

before going to the boat show, we grabbed some ice cream because the weather is insanely hot!
