Psychology observation program
So, 2 weeks of the psychology observation program (POP) at IMH has come to an end and i know i will miss it. It has been an enriching experience which gave me the opportunity to gain new insights into this field and what it entails, learn about various forms of psychotherapy, interact with clinical psychologists and observe live/taped consultations and interviews with patients, and of course made some fabulous new friends.I really enjoyed these 2 weeks and im more sure than ever that this is really what i wanna do in my life. It is a very challenging yet rewarding job, and with the new and interesting cases that clinical psychologists encounter each day, it'll never be mundane and boring. Hopefully, i'll be able to get into the NUS Masters of Clinical Psychology program and be on my way to becoming a clinical psychologist!Gloria
