Wasabi tei

Having heard much about Wasabi Tei- the long queue, the to-die-for sashimi, cheap delicious japanese food, and the notoriously unfriendly shopowners, me and Jiang decided to try it for dinner today!at first, we were pretty scared of the shopowners whom we heard can be quite fierce. However, we didnt think they were that bad. People probably exaggerated, as always. so exciting, cant wait for sashimi!!!appetizer. I dont know what it is as it wasnt from menu, but it was definitely appetizing :)
Moriawase (mixed sashimi). really really cheap and delicious! Drool at the thick fat slices of sashimi!!! Especially the salmon sashimi, it simply melts in the mouth, oooohhh~ I can do with more variety though.
unagi set. According to online reviews, it was usually sold out by dinner time. So we were very very lucky! However, it was slightly below expectations, but still delicious nonetheless.
We left the place extremely contented and even Jiang cant stop raving about the salmon sashimi :D

PS: a gentle reminder, please go early (i.e. at 530 when the shop opens) to avoid waiting for too long. The place is pathetically tiny and can only house 16 people at most. We were the first to leave and even then, it was already 630pm and there was quite a long queue outside. Moral of story - either be early or be prepared to wait!
