The Line, Shangri La

50th month!!! Decided to go The Line at Shangri La to celebrate (celebration was just an excuse, eating good food is more like the real reason) . However, we were disappointed :(((

Honestly speaking, we didnt really enjoy it. Quantity was there, but sadly, quality was compromised. But don't take our word that it sucks. Afterall, we had Bar & Billiard Room not too long ago and it was inevitable that we compare The Line with it. But well, the price we paid for Bar & Billiard Room was twice that we paid at The Line, so i guess it's true that you pay for what you get.

Another reason i dislike it is that there was too many people. So much so that we actually had to queue for food, in a buffet!!! As Jiang joked, "No wonder they call it The Line".

I realized i make it sound damn bad. Actually it wasnt that lousy. Maybe our expectations were too high? But given all the hype about it being the best buffet in town, i supposed it was understandable that we felt it was a let-down? Or were we too used to good food that nothing except the best can impress? In any case, Jiang said, enough of buffets. He would rather pay more for more decent ala carte.

Indian foodOh there was this Indian couple who came in at about 8pm, ate a few pratas, and left soon after. I was pretty amused that they spent 68++ per person just for a few pratas. They didnt even try the other food! Jiang said these are the really rich people haha. But seriously, 68++ can eat like hundred over waaayyy nicer pratas from a coffeeshop!Finalllly, desserts! Desserts can never go wrong :)
