Celebrated Han's 21st birthday at Borgo. We didnt know what to order so we let the restaurant's manager decide. He suggested 2 appetizers and a pizza, all of which were not in the menu, tailored to our taste. And gosh, the food was really good :) Some sliced tenderloin salad. The beef was excellent! Portobello mushroom. Absolutely delicious!!!
Gnocchi with pumpkin sauce and crispy bacon. Most reviews recommended this chef's speciality, so of course we must give it a try. A very unique taste, chewy, went very well with the bacon. Didnt disappoint. But we were so full we couldnt finish it, and the waiter thought we didnt like it! He looked so sad when he asked " is there something wrong with the food?" i almost felt guilty for not finishing it up. No, nothing wrong with the food, it was perfect, just that we were damn full!

Squid ink pasta
I realise most people dont dare eat squid ink pasta, either because they thought squid ink sound like something disgusting or they dont eat squid. But how can anyone not like squid ink pasta!!! It doesnt taste like squid at all and it's sooooo delicious! Only thing is that it makes your mouth black and ugly, but who cares? It's DELICIOUS!

Pizza. I dont know what is in it cos it wasnt in the menu. But there's spinach, beef and mushrooms i think...The pizza was delicious! Han wanted more meat and more meat was what we got :) And the meat was tender and juicy...yummmyyy :) By the way, their chilli flakes were damn spicy!!! I didnt know and i added alot, then the spicyness sort of overpowered the taste :(

After our mains, it's time for dessert! At a very unexpected moment! We were deeply engrossed in our conversations when they suddenly played a very "interesting" birthday song and we were shocked.

Here's the birthday girl. The first among us to turn 21 hahaha.

I must say, the tirmisu was fantastic! I like that it had a slightly stronger liquor taste than what i usually eat and i love the crispy burnt caramel bits! The cream was good too, and all of us happily gobbled it down :p
