Prego

Dinner with family at Prego. Food tasted ok, not particularly fantastic. And the pasta were so filling we didnt have much space in the stomach left for desserts. But i couldnt bear the thought of ending a meal without dessert so i insisted that we get the kahlau ice cream to share. Soup of the day
Tagliolini Neri all’ Aragosta
Squid ink tagliolini with lobster, fresh basil, garlic and cherry tomato sauce
The squid ink pasta here doesnt leave traces of black inks in the mouth like others, and maybe that's why it doesnt taste as good :(

I like the one at Da Paolo La Terrazza more.

Linguine allo Scoglio
Linguine with mussels, clams, squid, scallops, prawns and tomato sauce
Salmone, Tonno e Cipolle
Tomato, mozzarella, smoked salmon, tuna, red onion and parsley
It's quite hard to resist comparing the salmon pizza here with the one i ate just 2 weeks ago at Da Paolo Pizza bar. For a price almost double of Da Paolo's, i would expect it to taste better but i guess Da Paolo had set such a high standard that the pizza here seemed average in comparison.

Seared salmon fillet with French beans, baked cherry tomatoes, potato tart and tarragon foam
Zuccotto
Kahlua flavoured ice cream with chocolate cookies, caramel and vanilla sauce This is really yum yum :)
