Donuts craze
You know, i have never been a great fan of donuts. The only donuts that i truly liked are those from Mister Donut which i first tried in Japan. However, recently, there is this great hype over donuts in the basement of raffles city, at a newly opened shop called Donut factory. I heard, and had seen for myself, how unbelievably long the queue is and i heard of people who would start queueing 3 hours before the shop opened! I thought the craze would be over soon but no, the queue is still as long, if not longer, than before. Seriously. i have never seen such terrible queues since the Hello Kitty craze a long time ago.
Are the donuts really that nice or are Singaporeans just plain crazy and have nothing better to do?I wondered.
So today, having lots of time on my hand after exams, i decided to join the "fun" and give it a try, just to see what the big hoo-ha is about. Me and Jiang waited so long, it better be more than heavenly.
We tried donuts from Vinco- The Donut parlour from Vivo city just last week. We queued for 20mins and the donuts were quite disappointing, i must say. Fortunately, we only bought half a dozen just to try how it's like, and judging from the queue we thought it would be good. But well, it tasted only slightly better than those that you get elsewhere.
We had great expectations from the Donut Factory and i went early in the morning just so that i could get all the flavors.(in fact i was first in the queue haha!) And i pray that it would deserve my time and effort. 
And guess what? It did! Check out my 2 dozens no. of donuts!
The flavors are nice, the donuts are soft, yummy~
Ooh, and my favorite got to be the spicy cheese donut, super super nice! These donuts are certainly as good as those from Mister Donut. I havent tried Krispy Kreme, but i heard Donut Factory is comparable to those from Krispy Kreme, supposedly the best donut ever. Hmm...never mind daddy is going U.S on a business trip soon, maybe i can get him to buy back some, hee~Suddenly im so into donuts!
After having our fill of donuts, went shopping around the area. I havent bought anything in a while and felt that i HAVE to buy something. Haha, so in the end i bought a tank top from Guess and a nice pink cotton top from Buffalo jeans and lots of pretty accesories from Diva. Then i went starbucks and enjoyed my caramel latte and book while waiting for Jiang to go home and change before going to my grandma's house for dinner. Today was so such a fulfilling day, i felt so satisfied, heh.
