Phantom of the Opera
Jiang was having exams during our third year anniversary so we postponed the celebration till today. Met up for dinner at Paulaner Brauhaus followed by The Phantom of the Opera!!!

Asparagus salad with rémoulade, paté, sliced cheese and ham

Grilled Pork Knuckle - Gegrillte Schweinshaxe
Crispy pork knuckle served in its natural jus
Wiener Schnitzel with Cranberry Cherry Sauce
Lightly-breaded tender veal cutlet served with sautéed potatoes
It was such a huge spread, the servings were humongous, so much so that i couldnt finish it. I felt like my stomach was going to explode if i eat anymore, and for the first time, we didnt finish the food, which was so unlike us given that we are such greedy pigs. But anyway, the food was good and quite cheap too!

Grandma's Warm Apple Strudel
Served with bourbon-vanilla sauce
Rote Grütze
Traditional red wine stewed mixed berries Served with vanilla ice cream
Omg i was so in love with my dessert i almost licked the plate clean
Chocolates that Jiang bought for me! yummy!

After dinner, we cabbed down to Esplanade to catch Phantom of the Opera! It was quite dumb to take a cab from millenia walk to esplanade but well, we were late, so yar. Anyway, the opera was very very very very very nice! The stage was spectacular, the music was beautiful, the whole experience was so memorable...ahhh i want to go watch again!!! Anyway, to let you know how suaku i am, i have never watched a show in esplanade before, and i had no idea wat the opera was about until i caught the movie on TV few weeks ago. To think that when Jiang first asked if i wanted to watch it, i actually asked what the hell is that and told him not to bother wasting his money cos i wouldnt know how to appreciate it since im so uncultured. But no, i LOVED it and im so glad i agreed to go in the end. Maybe i do know how to appreciate opera afterall :p
and after the show, we met georgina outside! Oh my, i look so short and ugly beside her :(
