Lawry's The Prime Ribs

Dear's 19th birthdayhave been waiting for this day for sooo long, cos it's jiang lei's birthday and we are celebrating at Lawry's the Prime Rib!
looks so romantic right?
but actually it's quite a family kind of placemenu
The high ceilings, large windows and elegant furnishing
im such a sucker for breads i even asked for extra. How unglam, i know.sparkling water
after ordering our food, they wheeled this huge metal cart to our table and carved the succulent and tasty meat in front of us, throwing scoops of their world famous spinach that is subtly seasoned with spices, bacon and onion and also their delicious cream corn. Not to mention their Idaho Mashed Potatoes , An American favorite- whole potatoes, cooked, then whipped with milk until smooth and creamy

Lawry's Cut
traditional and most popular cut whoa, it was really really tender and juicy, pretty much the best ever!

The dinner also includes

The Famous Original Spinning Bowl Salad A blend of crisp romaine and iceberg lettuce and watercress, shredded beets, chopped eggs and croutons. Tossed with their exclusive vintage Dressing in a salad bowl spun on a bed of ice.
sounds yummy? You bet it sure is!

Yorkshire Pudding
Baked in small skillets until puffy and golden brown
Whipped Cream Horseradish
the wasabi one was super nice!

Pan Sear Salmon Fillet
Accompanied with 3 different canapes, crispy tortilla with avocado cream, grilled US scallop with Wasabi mayonnaise and carviar with a slice of ciabatta bread. Served with sake butter cream sauce and Idaho mashed potato

I was really damn full after the main course but there's always room for mouth-watering desserts :P

With the extensive list of desserts available, we were spoilt for choice. In the end, we opted for the dessert sampler which seems more worth it.

Dessert Sampler
Mudpie, A delicious combination of haagen daz chocolate, vanilla and coffee ice-cream with sinful hot fudge
Green tea tiramisu prepared in traditional manner with ladyfingers, mascarpone cheese, green tea, double cream and espresso served with chocolate mocha sauce

haha but somehow, it tasted more like cake than tiramisu

Crème brûlée
vanilla bean custard, caramelized and served with a berry compote and light whipped cream

suddenly we were greeted by a loud chorus of waiters and waitresses with a complimentary birthday cake
lalala~ the birthday songour yummy dessertsdear making his birthday wishes
