In case you guys are wondering where i've disappeared to, I've POOF-ed to Arts Camp 2006!

~So exciting dadadadada
So exciting dadadadada~

Ameta, which means love
The first day was pretty bad for me cos i went to the camp feeling quite sick from my sorethroat(thanks to the tub of chocolate cake & fudge ice cream i ate the night before despite my terrible sorethroat). Nonetheless,i could already sensed that it was gonna be a exciting and fun-filled 5 days with the super enthusiastics councilors and the efforts put in.

Programme was the usual ice breaker, campus tour, and games. At night, we were given the chance to play games to earn "coins" to purchase materials from the market place for our og mascot. Luck was on our side at the gambling dens and we won so much we made the banker bankrupt. our pretty mascotmy room in Eusoff Hall. It was quite scary sleeping in the room for the first day and i had to leave the lights when i slept. But the next few nights were pretty ok and i could sleep alright with the lights off.
Day 2
Project shoot-it whereby we have to travel to places outside NUS to capture the photos as required.the girls doing facial for the guys. Haha it was actually an attempt to promote some spa which was one of the main sponsors for the campat west coast parkhanwen my dear partner! learning the mambo dance which was very very cool cos the dance steps are actually sign language!!! *smile*
We had fright night and i was brought to a room with 2 other og mates to get clues to solve some murder mystery. They made it pretty scary but 3 of us were so noisy we probably scared them instead. We were like talking to the "ghosts", asking where they were, and i mildy theatened the "ghost" whom i was supposed to get a rubber band from to not grap my hand when i tried to get it off his wrist or risk me whacking him(even though we were instructed not to abuse the poor
"ghosts" who are humans too). While waiting for our turns, they screened The Exorcism of Emily Rose which was pretty entertaining for me but scary for the others.

After fright night, we had speed dating whereby we get to talk to 6 different guys from different og for 5 minutes each. Talked to some pretty interesting guys but im not interested in them cos there's only jianglei, jianglei and more jianglei for me.

The final activity was...World cup!!! I couldnt believe they let us watch the Brazil vs. Ghana in camp! To think that i was actually disappointed about missing the match cos of the camp. However, i was quite shagged at that time and almost fell asleep although it was a pretty good match. But well, we all knew who the winner would be so it didnt really matter. HOWEVER, WHY DID SPAIN LOSE TO FRANCE!???!! Iker casillas, how could he have let 3 goals in!!!

Day 3
Sentosa!!!
The weather was pretty good and the beach games were fun, but something happened and dampened my mood so i wasnt enjoying as much as i would love to.

Each of us has a secret pal whom we would write to using our nicknames(in my case, im eva longoria and he is tony parker). On the 3rd night, we were blindfolded and lead to our sps and talk to them for around 15 minutes or so. It was quite weird at first writing to someone you dont know yet a little exciting wondering who is the person you are writing to.

our lunch, not exactly appetising. The food there was oily and not very nice so i ate quite little, hopefully i would lose some weight hahahaha.

BUT, the food in NUS canteens, ESPECIALLY Arts canteen, was pretty cheap and darn good. The Yong tau foo in The Deck was highly popular among the students and it was waaay cheaper than that in rj. OMG, passing by the canteens during campus tour made me so so hungry. Think i will just get fat in NUS.

Day 4
Ran around the school looking for those councilors in disguise. Think im still quite unfit. I can run 6-8 km with little difficulty but when it comes to sprinting, boy, i found myself breathless after a while. After lunch we had war games which were very very fun. We ended up all muddy and dirty and my legs were blue from the dye in the water bombs. Now i know what's a war like, seeing those little packets of water flying across the sky, running for cover and seeing a bomb burst in front of you. Great fun.

After the war games, we were allowed some time to dress up for the great night out. We were going to see our sp for the first time and got to have dinner with them and go to MOX together. They tried to make the dining hall romantic with those heart-shaped balloons, candlelights and the councilors serving our food. My sp was pretty nice and we could talk quite well, but we didnt have each other's no so well, guess we shall just see each other around the campus.

Getting ready for sp night and clubbing Looking so hot and different
I havent danced like that in a long long time. Suddenly, it was just the music and my body. Feeling the beats, moving the way i wish, all the sweat and getting lost in the company...simply a great night at the club that i would never forget.

next up was supper at the usual cheese prata shop just a few minutes walk away from eusoff hallthe first cheese prata that i've eaten! so so yummy~ Day 5
To thank the ogls for their prata treat, we bought a chocolate cake for them :D (dylan missing in action)
The house ic - the ever so energetic charmaine and ernestsay cheese!
pretty yvonne and merissa
the white rose from my spthe award winning mascot - spongebob squarepants!!Georgina and Sharon

the girls
~We the aliens of aviva,
come to arts camp to show our faces
when we see your grandma's face
it reminds us of our cute cute faces
Hey hey, cute cute faces
all you other ogs better cover your faces~
Presenting....Aviva!

All the cheering has left me with a deep deep seexxy voice, a sun burnt face and a tired body due to the late nights and early mornings. However, it was memorable and probably the last school camp that i would ever attend.

Arts camp oei!
