Why is it that people who got their scholarships are not as happy as they should be with the sudden windfall when there are people like me who yearn for one but failed to. Maybe they are not excited cos the scholarship isnt exactly what they are interested in.Maybe they applied for it just to try their luck with no intention of really accepting it whereas i only applied for the two that im interested in, which i failed to get, sadly. Now that they get the scholarship, they are in a dilemma because they have no genuine interest in it at all. Should they give up their ambitions for the sake of that tens of thousands dollars to further their studies in prestigious colleges and enjoy the privileges of overseas experience and exposure and finally being bonded to an organisation which they do not really like?
Which is worse,not having a choice at all or being forced to choose?
