we decided to have a little food adventure along east coast road today and so we tried the famous five star chicken rice stall.so scrumptious! the chilli was superb, it was really spicy and added flavour to the rather plain rice. the chicken was probably one of the best i've eaten so far. the yummy kampong chicken. but somehow, either the chicken was too skinny or the cook was too stingy, our chicken seemed to have quite little meat. next, we went to boon tong kee that was just nearby for our second helping of chicken rice. i think we were crazy, fancy eating two serving of chicken rice for lunch!the not very impressive chicken ricemy chilli-filled rice. to me, one of the most important thing of chicken rice is the chilli and the one here sucks. the chicken was dry and tough too.urgh, i dont see why it's so famous. the only nice thing here was probably the rice. I still think five star and the far east chicken rice is tons nicer than this.

oh and i realised we have to pay GST in this two stalls. whoa, that means they earn more than a million a year, i didnt know selling chicken rice can be so profitable! i should ask my grandma to set up a stall too, since her chicken rice is just as nice,if not better than these!

the cute little girl that i was busy staring at the odd-looking giant strawberry that we boughtat the bus stop and we went for the famous mince pork noodle at east coast road too!
so many recommendations from newspapers..it is very nice but i dont really see what's so fantastic about it
and guess what i bought for jianglei?his favourite ramly burger! reminded me of the interesting ramly burger rap by don and drew...wonder if anybody heard it on perfect 10 before it's nice but very unhealthyso much food!i love pasam malam(night market) :D
