I need a temp job for this week, but the problem is that no one would want to hire anyone who can only work for a week :( So i decided to be thick-skinned today and went around shops asking if they need any salesgirl. Apparently they gave me the weird look and asked me to call their HQ, which rejected me coz they only want permanent workers. I wanted to ask restaurants if they need waitresses, but i don't know if it's appropriate to just go in and ask. They probably need some standard procedures like interviews and trainings etc. My parents told me to just stay at home for this week and save on the transport fares, which is ridiculously expensive. Easy for them to say, how do they expect me to survive when i don't have any income and they refused to give me pocket money? And i haven't even gotten my formal work attire yet. I used to be sceptical whenever people say studying is so much easier than working. Now i have no doubts about it at all. I would do anything to go back to school now.

Cant wait for this sat. First, i can see jianglei again!!! Second, there's hip hop, which is getting more challenging. Third, i can finally watch Memoirs of a Geisha. Think Gongli is just perfect for the role of Hatsumomo, she looks drop dead gorgeous and seductive in the movie posters. If im a guy, i would definitely fall head over heels over her. As for sayuri, i don't know why they get ziyi zhang (not a typo error, she changed her name to ziyi zhang so as to follow the westerners who put their first name at the back, talk about forgettting your roots!!!). I never liked this woman and never watched any of her shows before, not even the famous tiger dragon show. Unfortunately, this will be the first that im going to watch. Damn, she's such a bitch, she should be the one acting as Hatsumomo instead. But too bad, she' s not pretty enough. No fans of hers here right? I hope. Anyway, i have such high expectations of the show, it better not fail me. Afterall, the three women are the representatives of Asians in a big hollywood movie, they better dont screw it up. According to reviews so far, it seems like they did us proud, esp the breath-taking Gongli. cant wait cant wait.
